This month we present to you an entirely new beverage straight from its birthplace on the shores of Lake Kushaqua in the Adirondack Mountains of Upper New York State. It's true!

The Kushaqua 797 is easily concocted by mixing a jigger of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum with a glass of cranberry-rasberry juice, a splash of orange juice, a little bit of soda water (seltzer) and a slice of lime. Yum!

The first Kushaqua 797 was created and enjoyed by friends of the DabLab Researchers who formed the official support team and fan club for Saulius Puskorius, an Ironman Triathlete and friend, who competed in the 2003 Ironman USA Lake Placid Triathlon. It's all true!

797 was Sauliaus' competitor number. It was no coincidence that 797 is a prime number, for after a tough 10.5 hour spectator day, the team saw #797 qualify for the 2003 Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii in October. Wow!
